What to Expect On September 15 Apple Event?

September month is very special for many of us. It is the beginning of a new season, the beginning of a new academic year. But for the tech freaks like us, it has special importance. For more than the last 10 years, Apple events are conducted in September. The new version of iPhones, tablets, watches, headphones, speakers, laptops etc will be introduced in the events. But since the event started, the most awaited product in the Apple event is the iPhone.

Before a month usually, so many predictions and rumours related to the product will arise. As always it is not different this time also. The world is suffering from an unexpected cause. COVID pandemic demolished the entire economic and health system and it is almost similar in 6 different continents. As the backend of apple is also suffering from many different issues, the executives of Apple have already warned that this year’s new iPhone would be postponed by a few weeks, maybe to October.

In late July, Apple chief executive Tim Cook was part of a group of tech executives who got testified virtually before a U.S. congressional subcommittee about monopoly action. The company is also facing an antitrust investigation by the European Commission and it is now in a completely epic battle with app makers, both large and small, over the rates charged to developers who want to build, sell and distribute apps within Apple’s walled gardens.

The Apple event is still getting hosted next week, but virtually and the event will be live-streamed. It is going to be somewhat like the software conferences on Zoom or WebEx

Apple sent the digital invitation and it has the phrase “Time Flies”. It could be a hint pointing to watches. Bloomberg has also recently reported that new Apple Watches are in the works. Apple Watch, after the introduction, in a short duration of time, became one of the best selling watches all around the world. As ‘Bloomberg’ used the plural term watches, more than two models can be expected on the event. The product can vary based on its technical features, style, design and price. Apple watch of lower cost which might replace the Apple Watch Series 3 and higher cost can be expected. one of the most amazing specialities of Apple watch is its health tracker. Now it is rumoured that the coming model could have a blood oxygen sensor.

A new updated version of the iPad is expected to be introduced with better design more closely resembles the iPad Pro. Famous Apple product analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has already predicted that, in the second half of 2020, an iPad model of 10.8-inch would be introduced. But my only confusion is that, how can they differentiate the new model with the 11-inch iPad Pro in terms of its design. It is predicted that Touch ID may get some sort of revamping. That could be either an in-screen touch sensor or one built into the iPad’s tactile power button. The new product may have special updations on camera, to make the video chat better.

The official releasing of the iOS 14 cant usually be expected as since new iPhones are not launching until October.

According to the other mac-rumours, a newer, less expensive version of HomePod could be revealed. Apple also announced an ARM-based Mac Mini earlier this year. It is a big deal because it signalled a shift away from Intel chips.
